Promote the Storm Squad initiative and Community Resiliency Information System (CRIS) Platform
Help recruit neighborhood representatives for CERT and Storm Squad Captain
Reduce barriers to participation
Help distribute flyers to promote CRIS and upload flooding pictures

Storm Captain

Will be trained to serves as a conduit between community and emergency officials under blue sky and gray sky
Train to help connect community to emergency officials
Help distribute and collect surveys and upload flood-related pictures via CRIS
Help promote the Flood App
Must be able to pass USF’s background check

Ambassador meetings and trainings will be scheduled the first Tuesday of each month, 6-7 p.m. This schedule is flexible and is dependent on training/exercise times and volunteer opportunities. Check Facebook and website for updates.
